Our Scripture promise
The verses come from the Bible. Never from AI.
Nemora uses AI to write pastoral reflection—not Scripture. Every Bible verse displayed in a response comes from vetted translation data for the Bible version selected.
This separation is a product boundary, not a marketing shortcut.
01
What AI does.
AI helps select a relevant passage and writes the pastoral prose around your journal entry. It can connect themes in what you wrote to the context prepared for the response and shape the reflection to the depth and tone you chose.
02
What AI does not do.
The model is not asked to invent, quote, rewrite, or paraphrase the Bible text displayed in a Nemora response. Generated prose and displayed verse text have different sources and different roles.
03
How the boundary works.
Nemora works with passage coordinates, checks them against its Scripture corpus, and renders the exact verse text from that vetted corpus inside the app. The generated response is structured so the Bible text does not need to come from the model.
Optional custom instructions can guide the reflection’s tone. They cannot change the selected translation text, remove the separation between prose and Scripture, or override Nemora’s safety rules.
04
Why this matters.
A devotional should not ask you to trust a language model’s memory of a verse. Nemora points back to Scripture while keeping the source of those words clear.
The reflection may be personal to your entry. The Bible text is not personalized, softened, or rewritten around it.
05
A companion, not an authority.
Nemora offers reflection and a way to return to Scripture. It does not replace Scripture, church, a pastor, professional care, or emergency help. Generated prose can be incomplete or mistaken, and it should be received as reflection rather than divine speech or instruction.
Questions about Scripture and AI.
Does AI help choose the passage?
Yes. AI can help select a passage relevant to the entry. Nemora then validates the passage coordinates and displays verse text from vetted translation data rather than asking the model to produce it.
Can the reflection still be wrong?
Yes. Generated pastoral prose can be incomplete or mistaken. The Scripture boundary protects the source of displayed Bible text; it does not turn generated commentary into an authority.
Can I choose a Bible version?
Nemora lets you choose among its supported Bible versions. The selected version determines which vetted translation text the app renders with the response.
