Terms of Use
Nemora is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement,
which governs your use of the app:

The notes below describe how we run the service. Where they conflict with the agreement above, the agreement controls.
Subscriptions
Nemora currently offers new subscribers one auto-renewing monthly subscription. An annual subscription from an earlier Nemora version remains recognized for existing subscribers. Apple shows the available price, billing period, and any introductory offer before purchase. If Apple gives you a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, and Apple charges your Apple Account at the start of each period. Cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access through the period you have already paid for. Apple sells and bills the subscription, so Apple handles refunds, not us.
Deleting your Nemora account or the app does not cancel your Apple subscription. Cancel it separately before deletion if you do not want it to renew.
Your account
An account is required. Nemora currently supports Sign in with Apple and a six-digit code sent to your email address. Keep access to that Apple Account or email secure. A subscription is associated with both the purchasing Apple Account and the Nemora account used when the purchase is linked. You may delete your account at any time in Profile, under Account → Delete account.
Acceptable use
Use Nemora for your own Bible journaling and reflection. Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, and do not use it to generate or distribute unlawful material. We may limit automated requests so abuse cannot run up service costs; ordinary journaling should not approach those limits.
What the app generates
Pastoral response prose in Nemora is written by an AI model. Scripture is not — every verse is rendered from vetted translation data for the Bible version you select, and the model is never asked to write, quote, or paraphrase verse text. Generated responses and conversations are offered for reflection. They are not pastoral counselling, medical advice, mental-health treatment, or legal or financial advice. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency service.
Availability
Generating responses, conversations, portraits, or narration requires an internet connection and depends on services we do not control. The journal itself is currently stored on the device and new journal changes do not sync across devices. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. If we discontinue it entirely, we will give reasonable notice and stop billing.
Content and ownership
What you write in the app — your journal entries, questions, and custom instructions — is yours. You give Nemora a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate the service and the features you choose. The app itself, its design, and its illustrations remain ours. Bible text is used under the terms of each translation’s licence.
Sharing
You are responsible for content you choose to share through Apple’s system share sheet. In supported earlier journey and devotional features, anyone with an unguessable public Nemora link may view and forward its published snapshot until the link is revoked, its source journey is deleted, or the account is deleted. Public links do not expire automatically. Do not share or publish anything you want to keep private.
Disclaimer and liability
Nemora is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version at this address. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
